Welcome to a new day

Whether we are people with Chiari, Cancer, CFS, Migraines, or any other disease that millions of people are plagued with we are all looking for the same thing. We want someone who understands us, who cares that we do not feel up to par, that someone can hear us say for the 335 time this year that yet again we have a headache, and wont come back with an exaserbated sigh of "when do you not have a headache." We dont want to be a hindrance or a pain to those we love, but we want people to be considerate of what people with Chiari suffer through. When we get out of bed automatically there is a pain that focuses at teh base of our head and the longer we are up the worse the pain. We still want to see our children laugh and play and say I love you, we still want our spouses to hold us, kiss us, and tell it will be ok. Love is something everyone wants, even the zipperheads.

The future looms

As in all of our lives whether we suffer from Chiari or are just one of the many millions of society, the future looms uncertainly as the ground of Southern California. There is no telling when we will feel the earth move under our feet and I am not talking about earthquakes. Five years ago I was playing soccer, softball, working out and now my handy sidekick is a cane. The future is guaranteed to noone as we all should be aware of. Life is short, live it and love it. I will be going under for yet another surgery but have to tell you, world, that if you have loved ones dont wait until tomorrow to share that love because it was never created to keep inside of yourself. Just like a light, love shines brighter when it is shared.

God Bless,

Pamela
